Five people show up to the meeting. These folks give updates on their projects:

1) Aduro Games He gives an update on his cell phone games. He is still working on his Captain Fantastic project. During the past month, he experiments with a raytracer and produces a 3D maze game for a cell phone! He lets folks try it out and gets feedback. He plans on selling it on a cell-phone game portal soon. His goals for next month includes finishing Captain Fantastic and starting on Pocket Wars.

2) Curiosoft He talks about his current Jr. Scientist project. He also talks about marketing and other changes he starts... including getting the games onto Amazon.com. He also talks about the new web commercials he made for the products. His goals for next month include finishing Jr. Scientist and focusing on more marketing (distirbuting to more sites, etc.)

3) Flicker Games This is Flicker Games' first meeting. He talks about his current goal of prototyping a puzzle game idea in blitz basic. His goals for next month include practicing with Blitz Basic.

4) Sundar He has developed educational simulations and is interested in making games on the side. He observed the meeting and provided helpful feedback on the demos of other folks. His goals for next month include reading the Dexterity Articles on profitable game development.

5) GBGames  talks about his current goals of developing games for the untapped market of Linux. The rest of the discussion consists of everyone in the group arguing against his stance. The group tells him that folks that will not pay money for something will probably not pay for games. We then ask him about his goals. Does he want to develop games for fun? Or does he want to develop games for profit. He says that he wants to develop games for profit. So we tell him that you need to have a decent market if you want to develop for profit. The goals for next month include looking into tools to develop for the PC or Mac.
