Benefits of Role-Models for Kids

The ideas in the essay got us thinking about a few new directions....
basically, we are thinking of making a list of stories about the great thinkers throughout human history.

The goal is to have these stories introduce children to the attitudes and qualities needed to be successful in whatever they choose (these qualities include determination, persistence, passion, etc.).

These would be stories that parents would print out and possibly mention at the dinner table.

As a parent, would you use such a resource? What would compel you to tell such stories to your child?
